‘Shots from the hip’

I did a photography course a year or two ago and one of the assignments was to take a shot a hip height every 30 paces for a full 36 shots on a route you walk regularly.
 
I’ve tried it again here, although not for the full 36. 
 
I think the idea was to try and make you see somewhere familiar in a different light and stop you from spending ages trying to compose a picture, by forcing you to do it blind. 
 
I can’t say I’m all that pleased with the results, but I thought I’d post them anyway.
